I agree. So here is the question: Why is it still so hard for us to simply say &quot;Thank you&quot; when we&#039;re complimented? Is there fear that people won&#039;t like us if we simply accept a compliment?

I&#039;d say it falls into the category of gifting people the opportunity to help. Allowing someone to reciprocate the joy you give them. Ask for help, and help someone feel like they&#039;ve been helpful...
